With the theme A Symphonic Dream of Sakura, this concert draws inspiration from the cherry blossom—the quintessential image of spring shared across Eastern islands. As blossoms unfurl in the spring breeze, they symbolize the flourishing of life and the musical notes echoing between islands. More than just a flower, the Sakura is an embodiment of Japanese culture, art, and emotion. This performance promises to be a "dream" in full bloom, inviting the audience into a space of collective resonance.

Under the baton of conductor Ching-Ming Lu, the TASO (Taiwan Artists Symphony Orchestra), TNFC (Tainan Festival Chorus), and TYC (Tainan Youth Choir) will be joined by a spectacular lineup of guest artists from Japan:

Azumi Inoue: The legendary voice behind Studio Ghibli masterpieces; original singer of theme songs for My Neighbor Totoro and Castle in the Sky.

Risa Junna: A powerhouse of stage and screen; formerly the first Top Star (Lead Musumeyaku) of the Takarazuka Revue Snow Troupe, renowned for her crystal-clear vocals and extraordinary stage presence.

Jun Shirota: A versatile cross-cultural tenor and original vocalist for the theme of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, bringing a captivating international flair to the stage.

Reiko Kato: Hailed as a "Contemporary Diva with a Showa-era Soul," her healing, transparent voice preserves the warm linguistic charm and beautiful melodies of Japanese ballads for a new generation.

YuYu (Yuyu Imao): A rising star who inherited the exquisite vocal talent of her mother, Azumi Inoue; the two will perform together in a rare mother-daughter collaboration.

The repertoire spans anime, film, video games, nursery rhymes, traditional folk songs, and J-pop.
